Dr. Amita Jain is Consultant Urogynaecologist at Medanta – The Medicity, New Delhi region, India. Her entire practice is exclusive to the management of patients suffering from Pelvic floor dysfunctions. She had an excellent opportunity of working in top national and international hospitals including the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and the Townsville Hospital, James Cook University, Queensland, Australia, considered as one of the most top ranked academic universities in the world today.
With a vast experience of having performed all named surgeries in urogynaecological field vaginal or abdominal (open/ laparoscopic / robotic), Dr. Amita is the leading urogynaecological surgeon in India and has pioneered several advanced procedures in the country including dynamic MRI pelvis and 2D/3D transperineal USG as diagnostic modalities and first TVT- Abbrevo placement and robotic burch colposuspension for stress urinary incontinence. Her endeavors are focused towards providing her patients the most advanced facilities and techniques available only at leading international institutions.
